Principle

This website is a purely informational site. There are no user accounts, no forms and no payment processes. No cookies are set for analytics or advertising, no tracking services are embedded and no user profiles are created. No external fonts, maps or video services are loaded.

Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, on a server in Nuremberg. When pages are requested, the web server automatically logs access data: shortened IP address, date and time, file requested, volume transferred, status of the request, browser and operating system.

This logging serves secure operation and the prevention of attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in a functioning and secure website. Logs are deleted after seven days at the latest and are not merged with other data.

Encryption

All traffic is encrypted via HTTPS. The certificate is issued by Let's Encrypt.

Local storage in your browser

If your browser language differs from the language of the page you opened, a notice about the matching language version appears at the top. If you close that notice, the website stores this decision locally in your browser (localStorage, key "tss-lang-ok") so the notice does not reappear.

This is not a cookie. The value is never sent to the server and holds no personal data. You can delete it at any time through your browser settings.

Contact by email

If you write to us by email, your details are stored in order to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual enquiries, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Our mailboxes are operated by ALL-INKL.COM - Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. Data is deleted once the enquiry has been dealt with and no statutory retention periods apply.

You can subscribe to an email newsletter on this website. The email address is required; giving a name is optional.

Subscription uses the double opt-in procedure: after submitting, you receive an email with a confirmation link. Only after clicking that link is the address added to the list. If confirmation does not follow, the address is deleted after 30 days at the latest.

To document consent, the time of subscription and of confirmation are stored. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR together with Section 7(2)(3) of the German Act Against Unfair Competition (UWG).

Sending is handled by Listmonk, open source newsletter software operated on our own server in Germany. No transfer to third parties takes place. An email service provider is used as a processor for the technical delivery.

The newsletter records whether and when an email was opened and which links were clicked. This helps improve the content and is tied to the respective subscription. If you do not want this, you can unsubscribe.

You may withdraw your consent at any time. Every newsletter email contains an unsubscribe link. After unsubscribing, the address is deleted unless it must be retained to document earlier consent.

Your rights

You have the right to access the data held about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Any consent given can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

Right to complain

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59-61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.

Changes

This notice will be updated as soon as the functions of the website change - for instance when a sign-up form is added.
